The Vice-Rectorate for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Affairs was established on 1431/1/1 AH and is one of the main pillars of the university. The Vice-Rectorate is working to establish new research centers to promote scientific research and engage in research partnerships with the outside of university. It also challenges the development plans of the country, through communication with experts in many different scientific fields, as well as the establishment of several scientific research chairs, and the holding of many scientific agreements with prestigious universities and specialized destinations inside and outside the Kingdom. In addition, the Vice-Rectorate shall carry out the work of the Scientific Council and the functions entrusted to it by the faculty members of the University in respect of appointment, promotion, scientific publishing and other functions and committees, which contribute significantly and effectively to the conduct and development of the University.

Supervising the external and internal scholarship programs at the university.
Supervising the scientific publishing outlets issued by the university.
Supervising the work of authorship and translation at the university.

Maintaining the regularity of the periodicity of scientific research publications issued by the rectorate .
