The Scientific Council of Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kharj University held its sixth session of the academic year 1443 H

The Scientific Council of Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kharj University held its sixth session of the academic year 1443 H, at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 15/07/1443 H, 16/02/2022 Headed by His Excellency Dr. Nasser bin Saad Al-Qahtani, The University's Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research in charge - President of the Scientific Council - where the President of the Council began meeting with Praise god and peace and peace on the Messenger of God, then the Council began to discuss the topics on its agenda and the Scientific Council issued a number of resolutions on:

  • Approval of the proposal to organize interviews for those who apply for appointment who are not university employees, as well as those who are employees of the university.
  • Recommending the approval of the appointment of eleven faculty members at the rank of assistant professor at the university:
  1. Dr. Shahad Bint Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Muhanna, assistant professor in the Department of Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Education in Al-Kharj.
  2. Dr. Mona Bint Saud Mohammed Al Tuim, Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic language at the Faculty of Education in Al-Kharj.
  3. Dr. Ibtihaj Bint Abdullah Saad Al-Sanbal is an assistant professor in the Department of Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Education in Kharj.
  4. Dr. Sheikha Bint Mohammed Saleh al-Jaaidi, assistant professor in the Department of Arabic language at the Faculty of Education in Dalm.
  5. Dr. Nawal Bint Saeed Garmallah Al Zahrani, assistant professor in the Department of Arabic language at the Faculty of Education in Dalm.
  6. Dr. Nasser bin Mubarak Nasser Al-Khodri al-Dosari, assistant professor in the Department of Arabic Language, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Al-Duwaser Valley.
  7. Dr. Turki bin Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Barrak, Assistant Professor in the Accounting Department at the Faculty of Business Administration in Al-Kharj.
  8. Dr. Suleiman bin Ziad Ayed al-Mutairi, assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering in Kharj.
  9. Dr. Abed Bin Dahwi Abdullah Al-Anzi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Science.
  10. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Issa, Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences.
  11. Dr. Sattam bin Fahd Mufarah al-Otaibi, assistant professor in the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science and Humanities in Al-Kharj.
  • Approval of the promotion of a number of faculty members to the rank of associate professor:
  1. Dr. Khalid Mohammed Moqbel Al-Asbahi, Assistant Professor, English Language Department, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Al-Duwaser Valley.
  2. Dr. Abdul Wahab Al-Shadli Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science and Humanities in Al-Falaj.
  3. Dr. Faisal bin Mohammed al-Quraini, Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at the Faculty of Education in Al-Kharj.
  4. Dr. Khalid bin Nasser al-Assem, Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at the Faculty of Education in Al-Kharj.
  • Disapproval of the petition submitted by a university faculty member on the results of the arbitrators' reports on his promotion to the rank of professor.
  • Approval of the formation of arbitrator committees for a number of faculty members applying for promotion to the ranks of professor and associate professor.
  • Recommend approval for the transfer of a number of faculty members and their referees within the university in accordance with the new structure of the university.
  • Disapproval of a one-year full-time leave for a faculty member at the university.
  • Recommendation to approve the resignation of a re-elected university.
  • Disapproval of the transfer of two faculty members within the university.
  • Approval to activate the approval of the previous University Council to establish a magazine in health sciences under the name of "Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University Journal of Health Sciences".
  • Approval of the updated model to pay a reward for excellence allowance to Saudi faculty members and those in their judgment in the field of scientific publishing.

In conclusion, His Excellency Dr. Nasser bin Saad Al Qahtani congratulated the appointed and promoted faculty members and wished them and everyone more success
