PSAU Scientific Council, chaired by Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Alkhudairy , Vice Rector of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and chairman of the Scientific Council, held its first session for the academic year 1439-1440 AH. The chairman has commenced the meeting by saying prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad. He then expressed his thanks to the members whose memberships had terminated in the former term of the Council, and he also thanked all members of the Scientific Council and the members of the standing committees arising from the Scientific Council for their efforts exerted and time spent in enriching the discussions and making decisions during the previous years. In addition, he welcomed the new members, wished them the best luck, and urged them to do their best in order to go ahead with the work of the Council as enthusiastically and actively as their predecessors used to do in the past. On behalf of the University rector, he delivered a thank-you note to all members of the committee and the affiliated committees for their strenuous efforts, past and present, in their appraisal of different issues, their transparent and confidential discussions and their stipulation of the executive and procedural regulations that contribute to placing the University among the most advanced universities of the Kingdom.
