About Administration

It is one of the Administration affiliated with the University Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. The General Supervisor of Scholarships Administration is directly linked
to the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. The administration is considered a link between the university’s colleges and the
Saudi cultural attachés in the various scholarship countries. The administration seeks to provide support and assistance to all university employees, whether they are at the head of the scholarship or those wishing to undergo scholarships
to obtain an academic degree or develop their academic, administrative and technical skills through training as required by the interest of the university. It also works to implement the university’s objectives and policies in the field of scholarships. And study the programs and applications related to that.

Administration objectives:

Activating communication and following up on university scholarships locally and internationally.
Continuous improvement of electronic services to facilitate communication with scholarship students.
Strengthening and supporting scholarship programs to meet the needs of the scientific departments at the university.
Providing the necessary information about local and international universities and modern specializations.
Developing teaching assistants and lecturers by placing them in the most prestigious local and international universities.
Reviewing the internal rules and regulations for scholarship and developing them in line with the university’s directions.

Administration tasks

Providing support and assistance to all university employees, whether those heading the scholarship or those wishing to receive a scholarship.
Implementing the university’s goals and policies in the field of scholarships.
Ensure the application of scholarship systems and regulations in everything related to scholarship applications at the university.
Ensuring the correctness of the administrative procedures that scholarship students’ transactions go through.
Follow up on scholarship students’ transactions with the Saudi cultural attachés, their colleges, and all the various university departments.
Preparing training courses to qualify scholarship students and prepare them for scholarship.
Developing the university’s annual scholarship plan based on the needs of the university’s colleges and sectors.
Guiding scholarship students and educating them during their scholarship period.
Preparing statistics on university scholarships at home and abroad.

Units

The Administration structure of the missions department consists of several units, including the scholarship unit, the decisions unit, the financial guarantees unit, the statistics, reports, and databases unit, the follow-up unit, and the communication and information unit.

1.Scholarship unit:

It is responsible for studying the transactions of scholarship candidates and scholarship students from the pre-scholarship stage until completion of the scholarship.

2.Decisions unit:

This unit issues executive decisions for the minutes of both the Permanent Scholarship Committee and the Permanent Committee for Teaching Assistants and Lecturers.

3. Financial Guarantees Unit:

It issues financial guarantees to external and internal universities and issues letters disbursing financial dues to internal scholarship seekers.

4. Statistics, Reports and Databases Unit:

This unit creates and develops a database for university scholarships and documents and archives all their files electronically. It also issues statistical reports on the current situation of university scholarships.
